Reading Tutor

If your child is not making the progress you expect in reading, our certified teachers and dyslexia specialists can help. Conversely, if your child needs enhancements to their reading instruction, our tutors are equipped to challenge them in a fun way!

All of our tutoring is conducted virtually with a live instructor – not an app or a video! Parents may choose the platform – Zoom or KoalaGo!

We work with students from kindergarten through early college on:

• foundational reading skills, such as phonemic awareness and phonics
• deeper reading skills, such as fluency, inferring, and other comprehension strategies
• morphology and other vocabulary skills
• academic comprehension, including fiction and nonfiction genres
• critical thinking skills, text evidence, and reasoning

Sessions are 55 minutes. Each session is $80. (Discounts are available.)

Note: Children with diagnosed dyslexia should expect to attend 2-3 sessions weekly for progress. We use Wilson Reading System® for structured literacy lessons. For all other students, expect to attend 1-2 sessions weekly, depending on need.
