F.A.Q.s

Why choose HuddleTeach Partners?

Let’s face it – learning to read is not always a cake walk! With more than 35 years of teaching ALL types of children to read, we are uniquely equipped to help YOU meet the literacy needs of your child. Whether we are assessing your child and providing you with feedback, tutoring your child in reading and / or writing, or simply lending an ear to you as the parent, we are here to support you in the journey.

Do you only work with younger children?

We work with ages 4-18. The average age of our clients is 13. In fact, many parents come to us after years of frustration!

What assessments do you offer?

Our assessment packages include combinations of formal assessments, such Woodcock Johnson IV Tests of Achievement, Tests of Cognitive Abilities, and Tests of Oral Language, CTOPP-2, TOWRE-2, WIST, and WADE, as well as additional informal measures.

Can you do the assessments online?

Through the magic of Zoom and KoalaGo, we are able to securely assess your child from the comfort of their home.

Can you diagnose dyslexia?

We are not diagnosticians; however, the assessments listed above give a clear indication if your child most likely has dyslexia. You will receive a written report with standardized scores and recommendations based on the assessment data. An assessment review phone call will also be scheduled to discuss the results and recommendations.

What subjects do you tutor?

Our tutors are especially equipped to tutor reading and writing – both for children who show signs of or have been diagnosed with a learning disability (such as dyslexia) and for children who are more advanced and need an additional challenge.

What platforms do you use to tutor online?

We use parental choice of Zoom or KoalaGo to meet with your child online.
